The Reds are yet to make a decision on whether to open their 2017/18 season against the Brisbane Roar, but the fixture is likely to be the first time the club has played in Brisbane since 2013.
It will be the opening fixture for the Reds and they will take on the Brisbane Lions at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night.
The Reds have not played a home game since their 2-1 loss to Brisbane Roast in Round 4 of the Hyundai A-League last season.
They were last beaten in Brisbane in round 13, 2013.
The Roar have a winless streak of 18 matches, including a 1-0 loss at the hands of Sydney FC last weekend.
The Brisbane Lions were beaten 3-1 in the first leg of their A- League quarter-final last weekend, while the Reds are now 10-5-4 in the league.
The game is expected to be a competitive affair with both teams looking to end the longest winless run in the A-league in the past 20 years.
The match will be broadcast on RTE1, RTE2, RTP1, the RTE app and the RTP 2 mobile app.
